Dear Families,
Next week is Support Staff Appreciation Week. We encourage all students to take a moment to thank and recognize the many support staff who make a difference in our school every day. Our lunch supervisors, educational assistants, learning commons assistant, and administrative assistant work closely with and support students daily. Their care, dedication, and hard work help create a positive and welcoming learning environment for all.
Thank you to the SJ and AJA Fundraising Associations for contributing to the cost of swimming lessons for students in grades 1-9. Also, a big thank you to the parents who are volunteering with students at the pool. A reminder that swimming lessons for grade 1/2 students begin next week.
School Council Information: Join us for a School Council hosted Family Movie Night on Friday, May 8 in the school gym! The gym doors open at 6:30 pm, and the movie begins at 7:00 pm. We will be showing Paddington 2 - a fun, family-friendly film suitable for all ages. Admission is by donation. Snacks and treats will be available for purchase.
2026-2027 School Year: If your child will not be returning to Stanley Jones or Alice Jamieson Girls’ Academy next year, please email stanleyjones@cbe.ab.ca to let us know.
