Weekly Message - March 14

Dear Families,

Our second round of Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences will take place on March 20-21. This round of conferences we will be online through Microsoft Teams, we will not be hosting in-person conferences. Conference booking is now open to families.  We encourage all families to book a time to meet with their child’s teachers.  If you are having difficulty booking a conference, please call the main office for assistance.

School Council Meeting: The March 18 School Council meeting will be held online through Microsoft TEAMS.  You can join the meeting through this link March School Council Meeting.  

2025-2026 School Year: We are beginning to think about next year planning and resource allocation.  If your child will not be returning to Stanley Jones or Alice Jamieson Girls’ Academy next year, please email stanleyjones@cbe.ab.ca to let us know.

Stanley Jones and AJA Swag: Families have the opportunity to order t-shirts, hoodies, long sleeve shirts, sweatpants, and toques with the SJ or AJA logo.  Please follow the link Stanley Jones Online Store or AJA Online Store to place your orders before March 23.  There are youth and adult sizes, so double check you are ordering the correct size; there are no returns or refunds.  Please contact Ms. Patterson at cojpatterson@cbe.ab.ca if you have any questions.

March 20 – Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences Online 4:00pm-8:00pm

March 21 – No School - Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences Online 8:30am-1:00pm

March 24-30 – Spring Break

March 31 – Classes Resume, Grade 1 vaccinations

April 1 – AJA grades 4-6 Telus Spark field trip
