Dear Families,
Our school has been identified to receive additional funding to support the well-being and success of students through a continuum of supports and services, including prevention, promotion, early and short-term intervention. This work will be led by Ms. Patterson, as the Social Emotional Lead teacher. Ms. Patterson will receive additional training and support throughout the year to support staff and students in the implementation of research-based interventions. To allow Ms. Patterson to take on this new role, we would like to welcome Emily Dumontier to our teaching staff. Ms. Dumoniter will be teaching Ms. Patterson's classes on Wednesday, Thursday, and every second Friday. Ms. Dumontier has been a regular substitute teacher in our school and has a strong Phys. Ed. background. We are excited to have her join our team.
Thank you to all the parents/guardians who attended parent/teacher/student conferences. It was a great opportunity to connect and discuss your child’s progress. We encourage you to remain in contact with your child’s teachers to stay up to date on their current achievement. If you did not get the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher please reach out to the teacher directly.
