Dear Families,
We had a great turnout at our Meet the Teacher/Food Truck Event last night. Thank you to families and students for taking the time to tour the school, visit classrooms, and speak with teachers. We look forward to working together throughout the school year.
This week our students and staff came together to learn, reflect, and grow as we recognized Truth and Reconciliation Week and Orange Shirt Day. Through conversation, we were reminded of the importance of listening, understanding, and building a caring and respectful future for everyone.
As a school community we also participated in the Terry Fox Run, raising over $1700 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Thank you to our volunteers who supervised the Mud Between Our Toes field trip at Ralph Klein Park. These experiences could not happen without your support.
The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join a live online series on supporting child and youth well-being. The series is hosted by the Recovery Alberta Community Education Service (CES) Program in collaboration with local experts from the Calgary community. See the attached poster for sessions designed to provide families with knowledge, tools, and strategies to help navigate the challenges and opportunities of raising children and teens today. Along with the poster, additional session details are available on the Child and Youth Family and Caregiver Series public facing page.
