Dear Families,

Thank you to the parents/guardians who volunteered for our grade 5/6 swimming days this week.  Without the support of all the volunteers, field trip and activities could not take place.

Bike to School Day:

Our Annual Bike to School Day is just around the corner! Join us in riding, scooting, skating or walking to school on Tuesday, June 4th!

Bike trains will gather and head to the school from the East and the West for those wishing to travel as a group (see poster and maps attached)

West Departure - Meet at the corner of 8th Avenue & 1st Street NE. Meet at 7:35am and depart at 7:40am

East Departure- Meet at the Renfrew Baptist Church (1204 Renfrew Dr NE). Meet at 7:35am and depart at 7:40am

Join us for treats and some school spirit before the bell. Bikes, scooters, helmets, etc. can be stored safely in the gym for the day.  Can't wait to see you all!

Event: Students and their families, please join the Parent Learning Grounds Committee for a  “Playground Polishing Party.”

Date:  Sunday, June 2,  2024

Time: 2-4 PM

Details: Bring your own gloves and tools – to clean up the school yard.

Bring your curiosity - learn about the Learning Grounds Revitalization Plans.

Bring your water bottle –  snacks and beverages will be provided (thank your parent council!)

Bring your plants or seeds –at this green thumb gathering, participants can exchange their prized plants or seeds with others.
