Dear Families,

A big thank you to all the volunteers who joined us for our Kindergarten field trip to the Calgary Farmyard! Our students had an exciting and memorable day, making this a wonderful first field trip experience for many of them. We are grateful for your time and support in helping create these learning experiences for our students.

School Council Information

• The Stanley Jones & Alice Jamieson School Council are hosting a free guest speaker event for parents on Wednesday, November 4 from 7:00–8:00 PM in the Stanley Jones Learning Commons. We are excited to welcome Dr. Sheri Madigan who will be presenting on delaying smartphones and social media use for children. This timely and important conversation will offer valuable insights as we navigate the challenges and benefits of raising children in an increasingly digital world. Flyers will be sent home in students’ backpacks on Friday, October 16. If you would like to attend, please register using the QR code provided on the flyer. We hope you can join us for this informative evening!
• Our Learning Grounds Committee is attempting to secure a grant through the Community Fund Program.  If our school wins, the grant will go towards the learning grounds project to enrich our school grounds and back field.
