Dear Families,
We had a great turnout at our Meet the Teacher/Food Truck Event last night. Thank you to our School Council for organizing the food trucks and setting up information tables for families. Thank you to families and students for taking the time to tour the school, visit classrooms, and speak with teachers. We look forward to working together throughout the school year.
Next week, our students and staff will learn, listen, and reflect as we recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Through conversations and learning experiences, students will have opportunities to think about how they can show kindness, respect, and care for others and help build a more inclusive and respectful future for everyone.
As a school community we participated in the Terry Fox Run yesterday, raising over $3000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
