Dear Families,
Thank you to the SJ Fundraising Association for contributing to the cost of swimming for students in SJ grades 1-6; and a big thank you to all the parents who have been volunteering with students at the pool. A reminder, SJ grade 5 and 6 students are participating in swimming lessons next week.
A reminder there is no school tomorrow, May 17th or Monday, May 20th.

Event: Students and their families, please join the Parent Learning Grounds Committee for a “Playground Polishing Party.”
Date: Sunday, June 2, 2024
Time: 2-4 PM
Details: Bring your own gloves and tools – to clean up the school yard.
Bring your curiosity - learn about the Learning Grounds Revitalization Plans.
Bring your water bottle – snacks and beverages will be provided (thank your parent council!)
Bring your plants or seeds –at this green thumb gathering, participants can exchange their prized plants or seeds with others.

May 16 – SJ 5/6 Celebration of Learning – Doors open at 6:00pm, Celebration begins at 6:15pm.
May 17 - Professional Learning Day, no school for students
May 20 – No school
May 21-24 – SJ grade 5/6 swim lessons

June 4 – Bike to school day – stay tuned for more information, Colonel MacLeod tour for grade 6 students
