Dear Families,
We hope students had an enjoyable summer and are looking forward to the 2026-2027 school year. Teachers will return to school tomorrow to begin planning for the first few days with students. You can expect to receive an email from your child’s teacher Thursday afternoon with some key information about the first few days of school. As a reminder, our entry bell rings at 7:45am, school begins at 8:00am, school dismisses at 2:40pm, and Friday dismissal is 12:15pm. Please note, lunch begins at 11:00am and ends at 11:40am.

You will receive weekly communication from your child’s teacher, as well as a general message from the school with important information. Please make note of the upcoming dates:
August 31 - First Day of School
September 7 - Labor Day, No School
September 14-17 – AJA grades 7-9 Camp Chief Hector Overnight Trip
September 15 – AJA grades 4-6 Camp Chief Hector Day Trip
September 16 – AJA grades 7-9 (not attending the overnight trip) Camp Chief Hector Day Trip
September 17 – School Council - 6:30pm
September 24 – Welcome Back Food Truck Event and Meet the Teacher – 3:30pm-6:30pm
September 25 – Professional Learning Day – No School for Students
September 30 – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – No School
